India Hits Back With Surgical Strike On Terrorist Launch Pads Along LoC 

* Indian Army conducts surgical strikes on Wednesday night on terror launch pads across the Line of Control. Significant damage caused to the terrorists. Many terrorists killed.

* Terrorists were trying to sneak into the country and were planning to damage Jammu and Kashmir and many metros.

* Eight surgical strikes on Pakistani terror hideouts. No Indian casualities, many terrorists killed.

* Director General of Military Operations Lt Gen Ranbir Singh briefs media about the attacks. He says Pakistan is guilty of increasing infiltration by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.

* President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Former PM Manmohan Singh, J&K Governor and J&K chief minister Mehbooba Mufti have been briefed on the surgical strikes by the Indian Army.
