BR Ambedkar Tweet Puts Hardik Pandya in Spot  

Hardik Pandya could face action for alleged tweet on BR Ambedkar. Jodhpur court has been asked to file an FIR against Pandya for a tweet posted from a Parody account. But the complaint copy reveals that the tweet never got posted from the cricketer's official Twitter handle.

A Jaipur cop, Rajesh Yadav told a news channel: "We are yet to receive the orders of the court and once we get it, I will be in a position to comment. Further action will be taken as per law"

The court's direction comes following a petition filed by DR Meghwal who had stated that the cricketer's offencive tweet hurt people's sentiments. He also added that a leading cricketer should lead by example and not get into making such derogatory comments. The police has been directed by the court to register a complaint under a law on crimes against SC/STs.
