Boy killed as hunting gun goes off

Hunting zeal claimed the life of a boy in Ranga Reddy district on Monday. A 16-year-old Omkar was killed after an unlicensed gun went off accidentally.
According to reports, Omkar along with his friend of Tirumlapur Tanda under Khulakacharla mandal went hunting into the forest. When getting the gun ready, it misfired and the bullet pierced his head. Shocked by the incident, Omkar's friend rushed to the village and informed his parents.
He was rushed to a nearby private hospital where he was declared dead.
