Box Office Clash: Hello Or Middle Class Abbayi?

Hello and Middle Class Abbayi are perhaps the most awaited films as the year comes to an end. The two movies have released one day apart. The word of mouth publicity for Middle Class Abbayi is good and the movie has managed to collect approximately INR 6 crores on the opening day at the ticket window.

MCA features Nani, Bhumika Chawla and Sai Pallavi in key roles. The film is a family drama with elements of comedy thrown in.

Hello featuring Akhil Akkineni and Kalyani Priyadarshan released in theatres today. This is Akhil's second venture after his debut debacle. Nagarjuna and the makers have left no stone unturned to promote the film. Special tours, pre release events were some of the strategies Nagarjuna adopted to promote the movie before its release.

Hello has now opened to positive reviews and akhil's action sequences are much being talked about.

It's worth mentioning here that Hello has already raked in a whopping Rs 32 crores from world theatrical rights. The Andhra Pradesh rights were sold at Rs 26.5 crore and Karnataka rights earned Rs 2 crore. Overseas rights fetched about Rs 3 crores, according to trade analysts. So all eyes are on Hello to do well at the box office.

On the other hand, Nani has a success track record with his previous two movies Nenu Local and Ninnu Kori being hits. Now expectations are riding high on both the movies.
