Botsa: Poll results in CM's native town Chittoor not impressive - Sakshi Post

It appears that PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana is not leaving any stone unturned to damage the image of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Soon after the Panchayat poll results were out, Botsa made us of the opportunity to show the falling popularity of chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. It's a known fact that Congress did not get enough votes in Chittoor which happens to be Kiran's native town.

Speaking on Congress' performance in the first phase of local body polls, the PCC chief admitted that the Congress party's majority in Chittoor district had declined.
Stating that majority was weakened in four to five districts, he said  there was need to discuss Kiran's native district results in the party.

He also said that TDP was manipulating results and was projecting the few numbers as huge. Botsa said doors were always open if MP Vivek wanted to get back to the party. The PCC chief made it clear that there was no link between Panchayat elections and Telangana state. He ruled out early polls and said polls will be conducted as per scheduled. He thanked the public for choosing Congress-supported candidates in the sarpanch polls.

When reporters asked about the IBN - Hindu survey, he said he will not trust the survey.
