Botsa on patch up bid with Kiran ?
After interacting with senior leaders in Delhi, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana appears to have landed in an unpleasant situation with regard to “one man one post” concept coined by AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
Giving room for speculations in the party circles, Botsa called on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today at the camp office. Both of them are understood to have exchanged views on their respective Delhi visits. It may be recalled that the party High Command had invited the duo for consultations one after the other. Although Telangana may be the key issue and reason for inviting them to Delhi. It is learnt that the duo met party's senior leaders and gave feedback on various issues, including the party affairs in the State.
Botsa and Kiran appear to have reached a common understanding to know the pulse of party High Command and also get more clarity on the decisions expected in the near future on political developments. The chief Minister is jubilant of late with victory in majority of cooperative societies. The DCCB chairman elections are also a major task ahead for him. It is reported that the party high command is understood to have advised both Botsa and Kiran to make concerted efforts to win the local body elections too.
Their meeting also gains significance in view of the early polls as predicted by BJP in the country. On the other hand, Congress circles felt that there may be a decision on the ticklish issue of Telangana before 2014 general elections.
