Botsa fumes on dissenters, asks them to leave
Setting tongues wagging on intensified bickering within the party, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee chief Botsa Satyanaryana on Monday made controversial statements on the dissenters.
Speaking to the media person in Hyderabad, Botsa asked the leaders of defiance to leave the party immediately and need not wait till Telangana bill comes to Assembly.
He also said that show cause notices would be served to leaders, who are violating the party guidelines. He said that the leaders who were playing fence- sitting and looking at the other parties to switch loyalties, were conveniently laying accusing fingers on Congress, as if it was alone responsible for the State bifurcation.
According to him, Telangana bill would come to the Assembly in the first week of December and anyone could express their opinion on it.
“We, including myself, selfishly clung to power. If we had resigned, Telangana affair would have been different,” Botsa said, seemingly in a tone of despair.
