Botsa eyeing CM post: Jogi Ramesh

The statement made by PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana about expelling nine Congress legislators from the party for indulging in anti-party activities has created a sensation in the political circles.

Naturally, this has not gone down too well with the partymen who have already submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Perhaps Botsa never expected this kind of reaction from his former party colleagues.
Kakinada Congress MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy said that they had already expressed their will toquit the party, so there was no need for Botsa to make a big deal of it now!
On the other hand, Pedana MLA, Jogi Ramesh hit out at the PCC chief saying the latter had vested interests to make such an open announcement to the press!
"Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is ably carrying out his responsibilities. However, Botsa's statement on expelling Congress legislators only points to one thing—that he's waiting to strip the CM of his post so he can take his seat!" said Jogi Ramesh.
The very thought of losing majority has somewhat stirred the partymen. Jogi's statement has also led many to believe if that was the truth—is Botsa really eyeing the CM post?
