Botsa denies changes in party high posts - Sakshi Post

PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana who has remained silent all these days, dismissed speculation  that there may be changes in key positions in the state.

"Why should there be any changes," he replied back when reporters questioned him about reports that the Congress high command may effect changes in Andhra Pradesh after the ongoing parliament session concludes.
When asked  specifically if a new state Congress president might take over, he said, "Whether a new president comes or the old president continues, we work under our leadership. We are all mandated by Sonia Gandhi. There is no problem for us."

Reacting to reports that he was not given appointment with Sonia Gandhi during his recent visit to Delhi though less prominent leaders were given an audience with her, he said that  he did not seek any appointment with the Congress party president.
Replying to another query, he asserted that the party is always prepared to face elections. Referring to the ongoing power crisis in the state, he admitted that the electricity shortage had inconvenienced the people.

However, maintaining that the state government is making efforts to overcome the problem, he attacked the main opposition party Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for staging a protest at the chief minister's office in the secretariat in Hyderabad till midnight last night.
He said that the TDP lacked sincerity and is only interested in gaining political mileage.
