Botsa to go the Purandeswari way?

Former PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana who is slowly but steadily distancing himself from Congress party, after the latter ignored him while appointing PCCs for two new states of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, is all set to shift his loyalties to BJP.

Sources close to Botsa say that he is disappointed over not getting any responsibilities in Congress party. He is reportedly in touch with BJP senior leaders. 

As per reports, Botsa's hitherto unconditional support for Congress has been a double edged sword for the leader, since Congress Working Committee took a decision in favour of Telangana. Vizianagaram people are miffed with him and Botsa's political life might hit a roadblock if he chooses to continue with Congress.

Given the scenario, Botsa is planning to change his Assembly Segment from Chipurupalli to S. Kota.

If Congress looses Botsa they will lose an important leader. Previously any voice of of dissent against the ruling party was dealt severely by the leader. 

He is reportedly in touch with BJP leaders and is planning to meet Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad like Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi.  Many feel that it will be a major jolt to Congress if Botsa quits the party as he is from Kapu community which has considerable population in Seemandhra.

Botsa is following the footsteps of former union minister Purandeswari who also joined the Saffron party recently.
