Bomb hoax at RR district collectorate office

A bomb hoax call created flutter at the district collectorate office in Ranga Reddy district.

An anonymous caller rang the office to say there was a bomb planted at the premises. The place was evacuated following the call.

It is learnt that the unidentified person also said that bombs had been planted in other parts of the district.

Police later confirmed that it was fake call and nothing to worry. Following the recent twin bombings in Dilsukhnagar, the tension was a natural reaction to the prank call. The police is trying to trace the caller.
