Bolt From the Blue: Metro rail iron rod falls on a biker

An iron rod from a Metro rail works spot fell down onto a middle aged man at the busy Kukatpally area in Hyderabad on Friday.

According to reports, a two-wheeler rider had a providential escape when the iron rod from an elevated metro rail viaduct fell on his head. He suffered severe head injuries and rushed to a nearby hospital.
The victim was going to office from his home on his two-wheeler baring number AP 29 L 0190 at the time of the incident. He is stated to be out of danger.
It is said that the safety team of the Hyderabad metro rail will probe into the cause of the incident.
