Arjun Reddy Hindi Remake Latest News From Sets  

Shahid Kapoor Stomach Cancer Rumour: "Is Bollywood star, Arjun Reddy Hindi remake actor Shahid Kapoor suffering from stomach cancer?" is one of the most followed news in social media circles in the past 48 hours. Speculation was rife that the star actor was diagnosed with cancer and that's the reason behind the halt in Kabir Singh, the Arjun Reddy Hindi equivalent's shooting.

Ashwin Varde, co-producer of Kabir Singh, ridiculed the news saying Shahid was taking a break to spend time with his family in Delhi. "Multiple high-intensity action sequences have been shot in places around Mumbai in the past two months. He took a short break to find time for his family. The shoot will restart after the New Year's eve," said the co-producer.

Kabir Singh is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series. Actress Kiara Advani will play the role of 'Preeti,' which received high acclaim for Shalini Pandey's performance in Arjun Reddy. Director Sandeep Vanga announced 21 June, 2019 as the film's initial release date.
