When Sonam Did An Emotional Scene Without Glycerin

Sonam Kapoor won a million hearts with her performance in Neerja that got her a National award and went on to receive encouraging reviews for her portrayals in Padman and the recent hit Veere Di Wedding.

The star has now found an admirer in Juhi Chawla, who she shares screen space within Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.

All praise for Sonam says Juhi, "There is this sequence where Sonam breaks down following a scene with her father and I was amazed to see her do that without glycerin. She really gets in the mood of the shot."

The two have also grown close through the shoot of the film and the star feels special working with the father-daughter duo - Adds Juhi, " I think working with Anilji and Sonam in the same film makes it more special. I had seen Sonam as a 12-13-year-old girl when I was shooting for Deewana Mastana with her dad. She wants to know about the ’90s, how it was for working then, about the different directors, etc"
