Bollywood Actor To Play KCR in Political Biopic 

Hyderabad: The much-touted political biopic of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely begin shooting and the unit has zeroed in on Bollywood hero Rajkumar Rao to play KCR's role.

The movie will depict KCR's rise in politics and the Telangana movement that had gathered steam after he launched his own political outfit Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in 2001.

Software engineer-turned-director Madhura Sridhar Reddy will be directing the movie while 'Pelli Choopulu' fame Raj Kandukuri is producing the movie under the banner Dharmapada Creations.

The makers said that they would not compromise on the budget and will ensure that things go according to the script. KCR's political biography will be released on Telangana State formation day, June 2, next year.

Hero Rajkumar Rao had played roles in Kai Po Che!', Aligarh and Queen which earned him much recognition. His latest movie 'Behen Hogi Teri' starring South Indian actress Shruti Haasan, is in the last stage of production.
