Andhra Pradesh Police today claimed to have busted a bogus recruitment racket with the arrest of two persons from Bangalore.

Over 400 engineering students from East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh were allegedly duped by J V K Dinesh Kumar and Caxton Christ Das, who were arrested by sleuths of Rajahmundry Regional Crime Investigation Unit today.
The two allegedly posed as representatives of multinational companies, and collected lakhs of rupees from students of engineering colleges and issued them bogus appointment letters.
Most victims were students of engineering colleges within the Allavaram Police Station limits, said Additional Director General of Police S V Ramana Murthy.
As many as 426 students were duped by the duo.
The accused had earlier used the same modus operandi in Cyberabad, Kakinada III Town and Tadepalli town in West Godavari, Murthy said.
