Body of murdered techie reaches Machlipatnam
Machilipatnam, Body of techie Estar Anuhya, who was allegedly raped and murdered, reached Machilipatnam after postmortem in Mumbai on Saturday.
According to reports. her last rites will be performed on Saturday. As per police records, Anuhya, who was a software Engineer with TCS in Mumbai, did reach Lokmanya Tilak Express Station, which was her final destination. They are suspecting the driver of the cab she hired after reaching Mumbai, as she went missing soon after.
It may be recalled Anuhya was visiting Machlipatnam for Christmas, and was to return to Mumbai on January 4 in Vishakapatnam- Mumbai LTT express train. On the day of her departure she spoke to her father Prasad, and during the call she told him that she will call him back at 10 pm, and suddenly the line went dead.
Her father didn't get any call from her. He tried calling her back but there was no response. He tried contacting her friends at the hostel in Andheri where she was staying, but got no information. Finally, Prasad lodged a missing complaint with the Vijayawada police.
