Blow to Bharat Simha Reddy
In a big blow to former Congress minister DK Aruna's husband Bharath Simha Reddy, the Hyderabad High Court on Monday issued orders to pay the penalty or Rs 32 crore in connection with the illegal mining case.
The court also directed the officials to seize the assets and stop his mining immediately at Dharur mandal in Mahabubnagar district.
Recently, the Telangana government had slapped a fine on Bharath Simha Reddy in a case pertaining to financial irregularities.
