‘BJP Will Be King-maker In 2019 AP Assembly Polls’

Kadiri: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will emerge as the king-maker in the 2019 elections for the Andhra Pradesh assembly, the party's state unit leaders said.

This view was expressed by BJP's national joint secretary Santosh and state president (BJP Yuva Morcha) Vishnuvardhan Reddy here on Tuesday. "BJP will win crucial number of seats in the 2019 assembly elections. This will place the party in a crucial position where it will decide which party forms the government and who can be the chief minister," they said. They highlighted the several development and welfare schemes introduced by the Narendra Modi government and said that it is unfortunate that the AP government is showcasing those schemes as it's own. Giving instances about such schemes they said that the roads laid in interior villages and input subsidy provided to the AP farmers were from the funds provided by the central government.
