BJP To Hold Tiranga Yatra To Mark ‘Hyderabad Liberation Day’ On Sept. 17

Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP unit will observe September 17 as ‘Hyderabad Liberation Day’ to commemorate the liberation of the city from Nizam’s rule and accession with Indian Republic.

Telangana BJP cadres will carry out Independence Day celebrations from August 15 to September 17 by carrying out a ‘Tiranga Yatra’. The tri-colour will be carried the on two-wheelers paying homage to the freedom fighters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday in his speech at L.B. Stadium gave a clarion call to observe Independence Day celebrations till September 17 and carry out Tiranga rallies.

Telangana BJP president K. Laxman said “We will take the Tiranga Yatra to every nook and corner of the state to celebrate Hyderabad’s liberation from Nizam’s rule as well as Independence Day. BJP will honour those who fought for the liberation from Nizam’s rule.”
