BJP-TDP Alliance Getting Together Again: YSRCP

YSRCP MPs say BJP-TDP alliance was getting together - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: YSR Congress Party MPs here today alleged that the jodi of BJP-TDP has not really broken and they would continue with their alliance. They mentioned that both the parties are sailing on the same boat when it comes to taking a decision on Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh.

YSRCP MPs Mekapati Raja Mohan Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, Mithun Reddy and Avinash Reddy, spoke to media near the Parliament and said even as YSRCP was issuing no-trust vote notices against the NDA government the alliance between BJP and TDP seems to be getting cemented once again.

The MPs clarified that if the centre did not budge to their demands of awarding SCS to AP, all their party MPS would resign from both the houses of Parliament. They were in the process of gaining more support for the no-confidence motion in Lok Sabha, they said.

"When YSRCP was protesting in demand to fulfilling all the promises made in the AP Bifurcation Act, TDP accuses that YSRCP and BJP have joined hands. This very allegation proves that TDP was trying to divert the attention of people from the main issues. AP CM Chandrababu has changed his stances multiple times and he has not done any work over the last four years while being the NDA partner," they all pointed out.

The YSRCP MPs observed that AP CM was the villain in regards to SCS to AP. They alleged that Chandrababu was unable to bear that YSRCP was getting all the credit for the no-confidence motion and hence he took a u turn. They demanded the Lok Sabha Speaker to conduct the house and said that it was not fair to daily adjourn the house. Despite YSRCP giving notices of no-trust motion five times, the Speaker was adjourning the house mentioning that the house was not in order.
