BJP not to pose a threat to T Bill passage

India is all set to get its 29th state, Telangana. As per reports, Congress and BJP have reached an understanding on the issue.
Senior BJP leader M.Venkaiah Naidu said that they would fight for corrections in AP Reorganisation Bill – 2013.It is reported that the centre will make a statement on assurances like special package for Seemandhra region, among others.
It is reported that the centre has given a written assurance to BJP leaders on some other issues like tax exemption and others.
BJP has agreed for the promise of a statement by the prime minister in the house on these assurances.
However, BJP may not be so firm on Bill corrections after all, as the bill will have to get the approval of Lok Sabha again if the corrections are made.
