BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha meets Nitish

In a significant political development, senior BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha met Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday. He proceeded to the CM's residence and talked to him for some time.

Later, speaking to the waiting media persons, the actor-politician, known as Shotgun, praised the leadership of Nitish and said he was the tallest leader after Jyothi Basu. He also clarified that he had not acted against the BJP and said he can do nothing if the party choses to take action against him.
Shatrughan has a blow hot, blow cold relation with the BJP leadership. Post his comments praising Nitish, he was kept away from campaigning during the just concluded elections. A sulking Shotgun made noises that were pretty inconvenient to the BJP in Bihar.
