BJP leader’s dig at CM Kiran Kumar Reddy
BJP State president Kishan Reddy on Friday fired at Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for not utilizing the central funds properly.
He said when the government was unable to spend the funds earmarked for the State development; it has no right to impose taxes on the people. He said many states were flying high in the development path, Andhra Pradesh became Andhera Prasadesh (Dark Pradesh). Drinking water problem was acute in villages even at the beginning of the summer and situation in the next two months would be unimaginable, the BJP leader said.
Kishan Reddy said his party would intensify the movement on power crisis, which was launched at the village-level. He said Kiran Kumar Reddy has achieved a dubious distinction of chief minister of taxes. Liquor was available in plenty than drinking water in the State, he said and demanded that the government should respond on the people’s problems.
