BJP demands annul Asaduddin Owaisi as MP

New Delhi: BJP MLA Kishan Reddy has appealed to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to make Asaduddin Owaisi, Hyderabad MP, disqualify as Lok Sabha member. Kishan Reddy along with Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Saturday called on the Union Home Minister.

Both the BJP leaders from Telangana have complained to Rajnath Singh about Owaisi’s statement on extending legal help to those, who’re facing cases in connection with Islamic terrorism.

Speaking to the media after meeting the Union Home Minister, Kishan Reddy said: “ Owaisi’s statement of helping Islamic terrorists will hit the confidence of the Police department. We demand his immediate disqualification. They’re participating in the funerals of terrorists. They’re also giving terrorists and their families with financial support and legal assistance. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh assured of stringent action against terrorists. Why TRS is also silent on these developments?”
