BJP, TDP have no credibility: Jagan
Continuing the blistering attack on BJP-TDP and its sidekick party, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said the combination is not interested in people’s welfare but is concerned only for votes and seats and come in like migratory birds during elections but YSRCP has been with the people all the time and has taken up many issues protesting against the Government.
Addressing a road show here on Saturday, he said:” just one hour after the elections in Telangana are over, leaders of BJP, TDP and the sidekick party emerged onto a dais in Tiruapati seeking votes in the name of development and blaming YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the division of the state. Truth is known to people of the region and I appeal you to reject such divisive and unethical forces and vote for YSRCP fan symbol to shape a welfare state.
It was Congress, BJP and TDP that has voted in the Parliament in favour of a separate state and BJP floor leader Sushma Swaraj went to Telangana region seeking her share of votes for giving support to Telangana Bill. If Sonia is mata I am your mousi and people should acknowledge our commitment to Telangana, she said in her campaign.
Chandrababu Naidu on the other hand, toured Telangana and boasted that Telangana was possible only with the unconditional letter he has given agreeing for a separate state. Close on the heels of the polling come to an end in Telangana the BJP, TDP and sidekick leaders pick the Seemandrha tune and speak blatant and stark lies stating that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was responsible for the division of the state.
The opportunism and double speak of the gang has come into the open in the string of public meetings the leaders addressed from Tirupati to Visakhapatnam wherein they bluffed on development, deceived on welfare and defaced facts and figures.
The same BJP-TDP combination that is promising to bring heavens down was in power at the Centre and at State from 1999 to 2004. These promises did not cross their minds then. They did not think of Polavaram, Pulichintala, Galeru-Nagari, Hundri-Neva then.
Modi has been asking to vote for TDP so that the 1,000 km coastline could be developed. The extent of the coastline was the same during 1999-2004 but there was no such talk and not a single project was brought in to the State then.
Making promises in the times of elections and forgetting them later has been their wont. Modi speaks of abundant resources of gas in the region which can be used for developing the state but never tells what will be the state’s share.
Congress –led Sonia Gandhi, BJP and TDP have voted in Parliament in favour of a separate state. These parties have no love or affection for you but are single-mindedly interested in votes and seats.
Chandrababu Naidu is promising to waive Rs 1.50 lakh crores of farm and DWACRA loans while the state budget itself is Rs 1.25 crore. The farmer loans in the state were pegged at RS 1.27 crores at the Bankers’ Meet. The TDP leader has always been found wanting for implementing poll promises.
“I have inherited the legacy of YSR who never went back on his word. The five files I will be signing after assuming power and the six other promises announced will change the course of the state. For that we need numbers to have a say in the Union Government and I appeal you to vote for YSRCP fan symbol and elect all 25 MPs from the region to pave way for a welfare state,” he said.
