BJLP Leader Kishan Reddy Arrested For Taking Out Rally In Khammam

Khammam: MLA and BJP's Legislative Party Leader G. Kishan Reddy was arrested on Friday morning after he launched a rally in Khammam in support of mirchi farmers.

Reddy who arrived in Khammam on Thursday launched the rally from gandhi chowk to the mirchi yard along with supporters demanding support price for the produce. As police imposed 144 section in the area, Kishan Reddy dared the police when they tried to stop the rally.

The protesters raised slogans against police and Chief minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao and alleged that the two states have failed in coming to the rescue of mirchi farmers.

DSP Ganesh took Kishan Reddy into custody.
