Birthday Bumps: Sekhar Kammula

Sekhar Kammula celebrates his birthday today, February 4. The director is known to bring artistic elements infused with commercial touch in his movies, and is considered a rare breed in Telugu cinema.

He first forayed into direction with Dollar Dreams, which went on to win National Award, his first commercial success was with Anand, followed by Godavari and then Happy Days. These films established him as a director to reckon and many actors wish to work with him. His latest outing Fidaa produced by Dil Raju is his first film which went on to shatter overseas box-office market.
