Big win for YSRCP in Seemandhra: Survey
YSR Congress Party is headed for a big victory in Seemandhra region and is predicted to win 15 to 18 Lok Sabha seats, according to a survey.
The survey conducted by Agastya Research and Analysis Agency (Aaraa) also predicts that YSRCP will bag 105 to 112 Assembly seats in Seemandhra.
YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is not only likely to come to power in Seemandhra, but his party's position will also improve drastically in state assembly.
Interestingly, the survey also pointed out that Independents will have a good show this election. They could get 10 to 15 Assembly seats and one MP seat.
The survey also speculates that TDP-BJP alliance will get 55 to 65 Assembly seats and seven to 10 Lok Sabha seats.
While in Telangana, as per the survey, though TRS might emerge as the single largest party, the newly formed state could see a hung Assembly with no party crossing the half-way mark of 60 in the 119-member House.
While TRS will get 52 to 57 Assembly seats and 7 to 9 MP seats, the Congress- CPI combine could get 43 to 45 Assembly seats and 4 to 6 MP seats, the survey said.
YSRCP could get 3 to 6 assembly seats and one MP seat.
The survey which covered 25,000 voters said that MIM would get 6 to 7 Assembly seats and 1 to 2 MP seats.
