YSR Congress party senior leader and Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy on Wednesday approached the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) complaining that the cases foisted on him were politically motivated.

The Nandyal MLA in his petition mentioned that the cases booked against him were politically motivated. The TDP government has been playing vindictive politics and has been harassing him by foisting cases. Bhuma Nagi Reddy recently revealed that the TDP leaders tried to lure him into their party. "They even offered a ministry to my daughter Akhila Priya," he added.
