Bhongir Girl Jumps In Front of Train, Dies

Bhongir: A 22-year-old girl committed suicide after jumping in front of a train on Friday.

According to police, Revati took the extreme step after learning that her parents were on the look out for a boy to get her married. Though she expressed her aversion to the marriage, Revati's father Yadaiah continued his search for a perfect match for his daughter. Depressed over her parents' move, she committed suicide near Nadireddypalli railway station.

Passerby saw the incident and informed the railway police, who alerted Revati's parents based on the information they found at her body. Later, the girl's body was taken to the government hospital for post-mortem.

Revati, a native of Ennaram village of Ramannapet mandal was pursuing her post-graduation from NG College.
