According to reports, the fate of the Mahesh film release in Tamil Nadu will be decided on April 17. Tamil Nadu Producers and movie exhibitors are at loggerheads since March 1. Due to this, no new Tamil movies have released causing a loss of Rs 400 crore to Kollywood.

Most movies including Rajinikanth's much awaited Kaala have been postponed to June. Recently, Ram Charan's Rangasthalam was pulled out from Tamil Nadu theatres. Yet the film managed to dofantastic business at the box office, particularly in Chennai where it got the biggest opening for any Tamil film.

Bharat Ane Nenu will be released in theatres next week. But we are not sure if Tamil Producers will allow the screening of Bharat Ane Nenu or not.
