Bhaagamathie First Day Collections

Anushka's latest outing Bhaagamathie that hit theatres yesterday is receiving rave reviews from critics and public alike. The film was released in more than 1200 Screens across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and other parts of India besides the two Telugu states AP and Telangana.

Anushka's Bhaagamathie got solo release this week and thus setthe cash registers ringing at the box office on day one itself. Bhaagamathie earned Rs 12 Cr approximately on the opening day at the ticket window. It has turned out to be the highest opener in Sweety's career when compared to her other women-centric films Rudramadevi and Arundhati. The film is likely to beat the record set by Balakrishna's Jai Simha.

The film is directed by G. Ashok and produced under UV Creations and Green Studios banner. Unni Mukundan, Aadhi and Jayaram are seen as supporting cast in film. Anushka is plays an IAS officer in the film. Her performance is one of the highlights of the film.
