Be ready for mid-term polls: Babu

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday predicted that mid-term elections can be held anytime and asked his party leaders to be ready to face them.

He said going by the uncertain conditions in the country, there is a possibility of mid-term elections to Parliament. 

The Politburo of the party met on Saturday which was presided by Chandrababu.  The reasons for exodus of leaders from the party were discussed. It was decided that meeting must be held at mandal and district levels to know the feelings of the people towards the party.

Among other issues discussed in the politburo were stopping the leaders who have been openly siding with YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and  completing Naidu's padayatra as per schedule, top TDP sources said after the meeting concluded.
