Banda Karthika Reddy Enters VVIP Area in Parliament

Hyderabad: Former Hyderabad mayor and Congress leader Banda Karthika Reddy created a stir on the premises of Parliament on Wednesday.

She moved freely in the VVIP area and stood besides Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, when he was speaking to media.

Generally, the high security area is manned by SPG personnel. She not only entered the area, but also wrapped a shawl around Rahul Gandhi.

The officials of Parliament security later came to know that an MP from Telangana got a pass issued on her name to enter into Parliament.

Officials are conducting an internal inquiry on the issue.
