Banaganapalli Cong MLA Katasani Rami Reddy joins YSRCP

In another blow to the ruling party, MLA Katasani Rami Reddy has officially joined the YSR Congress Party on Tuesday. He became a member of the party in the presence of the party's honorary president YS. Vijayamma at the latter's Lotus Pond residence in Hyderabad.

It may be recalled here that Katasani recently announced his resignation to the party. He said that he took this decision against the Congress party decision to divide the Andhra Pradesh.

The Banaganapalli MLA went on an indefinite hunger strike in support of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who had fasted for seven days protesting Congress' unilateral decision to divide the state.

Katasani compared Chiranjeevi to a bull decorated during Pongal which nods in agreement to everything.
