Ban Arjun Reddy For Promoting Drugs, Says V. Hanumantha Rao

The senior congress leader lodged complaint with the Censor Board and the city police commissioner - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao once again triggered a controversy on Tuesday by asking the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to ban the movie after watching it.

"As the Telangana government is curbing the drug cases in the state, the movie Arjun Reddy is encouraging the drug use. The drug scenes in the movie will have a great impact on the youth, which leads them to follow the movie," V. Hanumantha Rao said. He also said that the movie will encourage the doctors to treat the patients in inebriated state.

The senior congress leader lodged complaints with the Censor board and city police commissioner to stop the movie. He also asked the Telangana chief minister to watch the movie and stop the screening it.

Earlier, the V. Hanumantha Rao stopped an RTC bus in Hyderabad and tore the movie posters which were stuck on the bus.
