Balapur Ganesh Laddoo auctioned for Rs 7.50 lakhs

Balapur is not only known for its Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, but  also for its Laddoo. The bidding amount goes up every year. People of all ages, including children and tourists visit this famous pandal at Balapur. 

 As with every year, the laddoo placed on the hands of Lord Ganesha was  auctioned this year too. Last year, the highest bid was at Rs 5,40,000. This year too, the bidding price is expected to cross 6 lakhs. However, surprisingly the auctioned laddoo fetched Rs 7.50 lakhs!
