Balaiah, Chiru Heading to Clash for Sankranti Season for 19th Time

Hyderabad: Tollywood's top actors Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna are getting ready to clash with their prestigious movies for this Sankranti. Both the films are slated to hit the screens in the month of January next year. The actors are now busy shooting for their career's milestone films which have already completed seventy per cent of the shooting part.

Chiranjeevi's 150th film titled 'Khaidi No 150' is being directed by VV Vinayak and Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead role. The film is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Katthi' starring Vijay. Chiranjeevi's actor son Ram Charan, who is producing the project under Konidela Productions, said there would be no delay in the release of the film during this Sankranti in January. The 61-year-old Megastar is playing dual role for this movie and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and Tarun Arora is playing the antagonist for the film.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna's 100th flick 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', an epic historical action film based on life history of 2nd century CE, Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni, is being directed by Krish. Balaiah is essaying the title role while Shriya Saran as the female lead pairing opposite Balakrishna. Chirantan Bhatt is composing music for the film which is being bankrolled by Saibabu Jagarlamudi & Y. Rajeev Reddy on First Frame Entertainment banner.



Obviously, it will be much interseting for their fans to see how the much-awaited films of the two top stars will fare. Both Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are strivinig hard to make their prestigious films blockbusters.
