Bala Krishna, Uma fight over Mylavaram; Naidu in a fix
The hot topic in TDP circles revolves around Bala Krishna contesting the upcoming elections. His fans know that once Balayya makes up his mind, there is no going back. The latest we hear is that Balayya has decided to contest from Mylavaram. But he's facing a hitch.
Krishna district incharge and MLA Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao may not allow Balayya to contest from the said constituency as he has made it clear that he will not let go of Mylavaram at any cost.
This was brought to the notice of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. Naidu is in a fix as neither of them is willing to back off.
It is a known fact that Bala Krishna on several occasions, openly expressed his desire to contesting the upcoming elections.
It is learnt that Balayya first decided to contest from Gudivada constituency in Krishna district. Late NTR's native Nimmakuru comes under this constituency. But after a few changes, Nimmakuru was made a part of Pamarru constituncey which is reserved for the SCs. So, Bala Krsihna cannot contest from here.
Surveys have revealed that it is best not to contest from Gudivada. So, Balayya decided to contest from Mylavaram.
This has come as a shock to Uma. Nandigama which Vuma contested from and won in the past is reserved for the SCs. So, Uma changed to Mylavaram and won from there.
Uma is believed to have told his supporters: "How can I change the constituency for which I have worked for past four years."
Bala Krishna reportedly directed Uma to contest from Nuziveedu or Penamaluru. But Uma made it clear that he would contest from Milavaram only. It is learnt that Naidu has left the task of convincing Uma to Bala Krsihna.
Can Bala Krsihna win this first battle? Let's wait and watch...
