Baisakhi is a harvest festival celebrated in Northern part of India. This Indian festival is all about colour of the harvest, the clothes farmers sport as they dance away to glory celebrating a bounty harvest chanting 'Jatta Aayi Baisakhi'. Considered to be the arrival of solar new year for Hindus, Baisakhi marks the beginning of a new year for the Sikh. The day also marks the birth of Khalsa Panth under Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth guru of sikhs.
