Bachpan Student’s Parents Demand Fair Probe 

Hyderabad: Parents of the nursery student - Shivarachit, who died after accidentally slipping into a sump, met Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy seeking comprehensive and fair handling of the probe.

On November 13, Shivarachit fell into the sump at the Bachpan school premises in Malkajgiri. The parents and locals alleged that the incident occurred due to sheer negligence of the school management. The sump was open for several months and the management never bothered to close it or at least put up any signs of caution, it is learned.

During the investigation, the police learnt that the video of CCTV installed at the premises was missing. A case has been registered against the school principal. The DGP asked the Forensic Laboratory to retrieve the information and asked the investigating officer to complete the probe.
