Babu's popularity on a downward spiral: Jagan
In an unsparing attack on Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, leader of the opposition and YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his party would have come to power had he made false and unimplementable promises like Chandrababu Naidu.
The YSRCP chief is in Guntur to review the party’s performance in the district during the recent general elections.
Addressing the party leaders, YS Jagan said that Chandrababu would do anything to usurp power. Several media channels have launched extensive campaign in support of Chandrababu. He said Eenadu, Andhra Jyothi and TV 9 have given incessant publicity to the false promises of the TDP.
Stating that Chandrababu's popularity graph is falling drastically, the YSRCP chief said his blatant lies are being nailed one by one. He further said that Chandrababu cheated the public by going back on crop loan waiver and is now finding ways to dilute the waiver.
While the position of DWCRA groups is pathetic and farmers at the cross roads, Chandrababu is telling the white lies day in and day out.
Jagan has been meeting several leaders of the party from the morning to take stock of its performance in the recent multiple elections and chalk out the future course of action to further strengthen the party and take forward the agenda of playing the role of a constructive opposition party.
