* Traditional rivals Silpa family and Bhuma family at loggerheads in Kurnool.

Few morsels and many mouths to feed! This exactly is Chandrababu Naidu's problem. Chandrababu Naidu, who embarked on much-awaited Cabinet rejig has so few berths to offer and a lot many ministry seekers.
While the rejig is primarily aimed at catapulting his son Lokesh into the Cabinet, some more additions and subtractions are very much on the cards. Several aspirants have already queued up at the Undavalli residence of Chandrababu and pleaded their respective caes. On Friday too, several aspirants met him at the Assembly. Some even took along the MLAs backing them. Interestingly, some ministerial colleagues, who are widely expected to lose their seats, have also done some last-minute lobbying. Minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, who is expected to be shown exit, met Chandrababu with his family members.
Senior party MLA Dhullipalla Narendra even became emotional amid rumours that he might not be made a minister.
On Friday, KV Naidu, Meesala Geetha, MLC D Jagadish and Sandhya Rani, all from Viziangaram, met CM and demanded that YSRCP turncoat Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao shouldn't be made a minister.
But, the real headache comes from Rayalaseema region, where there is a full-blooded battle going on between old guards and new entrants. With Chandrababu planning to induct Bhuma Akhilapriya, daughter of Bhuma Nagireddy, Silpa family is upset. Similarly, in YSR Kadapa, TDP biggies Ramasubba Reddy and Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy are mulling serious action if their bete noire and new entrant Adinarayana Reddy is made a minister. District incharge minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao is trying to mollify them. He had offered RTC chairman's post to Ramasubba Reddy to buy his acquiesence, but Reddy has flatly refused to take the bait. He and Mallikarjuna Reddy warned Chandrababu not to give ministry to turncoats.
Meanwhile, MLC and Congress leader C Ramachandraiah has appealed to Governor ESL Narasimhan not to allow defectors to be made ministers.
