Baahubali Tops In Wikipedia’s Most Read Movie List

Rajamouli's Magnum opus Baahubali has been in the news ever since the movie director had been in the making for five years. The movie stars acquired global fame and Prabhas hit a purple patch, of the once-in-a-lifetime kind.

The Baahuabali frenzy has continued unabated and recently, the movie was dubbed into several foreign languages. Incidentally, it also topped as the most searched movie on Google and other social media networks.

And now,guess what? The Baahubali franchise has also topped the list of Wikipedia's 25 most-read articles and finds itself in the 11th position. This, in itself, is something of a record for the south-Indian film industry and paved the way for the director getting worldwide recognition for the movie.

The Baahubali franchise stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in lead roles while Nassar, Satyaraj and Ramya Krishna performed well in the supportive roles.
