B P Acharya freed from jail

Suspended IAS officer and former home secretary B P Acharya was released from Chanchalguda prison in Hyderabad on Wednesday after a special CBI court granted him conditional bail yesterday.

On Tuesday, the special court granted conditional bail to Acharya, who is accused number one in the Emaar property case. He was in jail from the past eight months.  He was released after submitting a bond for Rs.1,00,000 and two sureties as directed by the court.

Acharya was received by his family members at the jail when he came out of the prison.
