Ayyannapatrudu quits TDP politburo

Ayyannapatrudu quits TDP politburo - Sakshi Post

In a major setback to Telugu Desam Party, senior leader and former minister Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu on Saturday announced his resignation from the politburo membership of the party. He also said that he would quit as active member.

Ayyannapatrudu found fault with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu suspending his follower Peela Srinivasa Rao without even discussing the issue. Irked by this,  he announced his resignation.

Stating that the TDP was taken action against his follower  Srinivasa Rao literally, the former minister said that he was just an ordinary worker now.

Earlier in the day, Naidu suspended  Peela Srinivasa Rao for violating rules of party discipline.

Peela Srinivasa Rao’s group on Friday attacked former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy during  NT Rama Rao’s death anniversary programme in Pendurti in Visakhapatnam.
