Auto driver, friends rape 50-year-old in Hyderabad

In a shocking incident, a 50-year-old woman was gang raped by an auto rickshaw driver and his friends in the city.  

According to reports, the woman,  a native of Medak district, went missing from March 28 and was found in an intoxicated condition on Tuesday.

The victim alleged that she was raped and abandoned by an auto driver and his friends who promised to take her home from Gandhi hospital. 

She came to Hyderabad, accompanying a pregnant woman to Gandhi hospital from Medak on March 23.  After few days, someone informed her that her son met with an accident in Medak. An auto driver assured her that he was going to same place and drop her. But she was raped and abandoned in a bus on Tuesday. 

Police registered a case and investigation is on.
