At YSRCP's complaint, EC watches 'Legend'

Following the complaint lodged by YSR Congress Party to stop the screening of Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer 'Legend', a five-member team from Election Commission watched the movie on Thursday.

YSRCP wanted to stop the screening or inclusion of its production and collection in the expenditure account of the actor who entered the poll fray as TDP candidate from Hindupur.  

The YSRCP leaders requested the EC that  it would be irreparable loss to the opposition parties if the exhibition is not stopped immediately across, as the screening can influence the voters of Ananthapur district.

The five member team is expected to submit a report on the movie to State Chief Election Officer Bhanwar Lal.
