Assistant Engineer held for accepting Rs 20,000 in bribe
Hyderabad: An Assistant Engineer in Adilabad district of Telangana was arrested on Saturday by sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.
The officer serving in Kagaznagar division was caught red-handed when he demanded and accepted the bribe from a complainant for doing an official favour, an ACB release said. The bribe amount was recovered from the accused, who has been arrested.
